Knud Friis and Elmar Moltke Nielsen founded the Danish practice in 1954, known for a mild, material-driven take on Brutalism. The thick, gently rounded top rests on four cylindrical legs joined by a single stretcher, the pine aged to a pale, weathered honey with grain and knots left fully visible. Seats eight comfortably. Published in Mobilia, no. 274. Wear consistent with age and use, including scratches, marks, notches, and chips. The tabletop has recently been refinished, continuing its history of honest, material-forward use.

A matching trestle bench from the same set is available to purchase separately.

Origin: Denmark, by Friis & Moltke Nielsen · c. 1978 · Pine · H 28 x L 72.5 x W 31.5 in

Reserving a piece before it arrives secures our pre-order price.
