A vibrant mid-century abstract composition by Danish painter Poul L. Andersen (1927–2015), built from sail-like triangular blue forms set against a warm amber and rust ground. A graphic black-ringed motif and touches of coral red animate the right side of the composition, with a deep teal field anchoring the lower left. Confident, gestural brushwork throughout. Signed on the reverse, with the date. Exhibited at Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling, 1945. Minor surface crackling and small areas of paint loss.
