Eliel Saarinen "Hannes" Armchairs for Adelta Oy, Finland, c. 1980 (ON HOLD)

A pair of Hannes armchairs designed by Eliel Saarinen in 1908 and produced by Adelta Oy, Finland in the 80s. Executed in solid mahogany wood with crocodile embossed imitation leather and foam padded seats, these chairs reflect Saarinen’s architectural approach to furniture design, balancing structural rigor with refined craftsmanship. 

The chairs were designed for the home of Eliel's brother Hannes.

Both chairs bear a label numbered 195 and 196.

Condition: Overall great vintage condition; minor wear.
