Large Oak Carved Sideboard by Henning Kjaernulf, c. 1960 (Coming Soon)

Arriving December

A long, low Danish sideboard by Henning Kjærnulf, in pale oak, its horizontal case fitted with four paneled doors and four drawers below, raised on carved legs joined by a long stretcher. Bold geometric carving runs across the drawer fronts and legs, with brass-toned escutcheons providing small decorative accents and dovetail joinery visible at the drawer corners. A strong, architectural presence in the Scandinavian Brutalist idiom, with rich natural grain and age-appropriate patina throughout.
