Painted Glass Table Lamp, Sweden, c. 1935

A Swedish table lamp with a spherical stained glass base by Corona Illuminningskultur, hand-painted on the interior with sweeping floral and scroll motifs in deep green and soft rose against a warm amber ground. The colors give the piece a soft, glowing quality when lit. Fine surface crackling throughout, consistent with age and adding real character to the glaze.
