Pair of Green Bubble Glass Table Lamps by Ture Berglund for Stockholms Glasbruk, Sweden, c. 1930
A striking pair of Swedish Modern table lamps by Ture Berglund, produced at Stockholms Glasbruk circa 1930. Each lamp features softly green-tinted glass with enclosed air bubbles and sculptural frill forms, giving the bases a richly textured, almost aquatic character. The glass is hand-blown, typical of the Stockholm glassfactory craftsmanship of this period.
A rare matched pair, especially in this condition — an elegant addition to a bedside, console, or living room setting. Beautiful examples of early 20th-century Swedish glass artistry.
The lamps have been newly rewired for US use and fitted with a classic pleated shade, allowing the textured glass to cast a warm, diffused glow.
Dimensions: 4"Dia x 9"H (to top of socket); 13"H (with lampshade)
Condition: both lamps are hand blown so have irregularities and while similar in design are not identical but unique; small hole in brass socket holder where old electrical cord existed.
