A refined two-part sideboard in varnished walnut attriubuted to Franz Xaver Sproll c. 1960s. The carved handle detail and exposed joinery are signature Sproll touches, with limited or no metal parts for assembly. The sideboard has four doors opening to adjustable shelves for storage.

Franz Xaver Sproll was a Swiss furniture maker known for high-quality, handcrafted solid wood furniture. His work has an anthroposophical design philosophy, and pieces are of the highest quality craftsmanship. His creations are rare and characteristically have few or no metal parts for assembly — which matches those beautifully carved wooden joinery details you can see at the corners of your sideboard.
